M: What friend?
Me: That guy who came to Starbucks with you.
M: Oh … Johnson.
Me: Ohhh … I heard Joel.
M: Lmao. Is Joel even a real name?
Me: …….. yes! Google it.
My class was cancelled today and I didn’t even know! I arrived to the class late and on the way, I saw my friend walking out. He said we our class was cancelled but I didn’t believe him because my other friend was in class already, so we both went up to level 7 to check it out … and oh em gee! It WAS cancelled. No one was in there except my friend and her other friend. They were sitting in the empty room by themselves.
After spending at least 2 hours (including catching the train) getting ready for class, I wasn’t even on school grounds for more than 30 minutes! Silly me for not checking the blackboard before I came but I never do anyway. Oh, well. I spent more time playing with baby Matthew instead. :)
First day back to class feels great. I had Aerodynamics and Aircraft Performance today. My timetable is actually pretty good because I have one subject per a day, which means I don’t need to carry that much books to class … only my exercise book. :D The first 2 hours of the class was spent introducing the subject and the course overview. We spent the last hour going through the first topic. Our first topic was “The Atmosphere”. We learnt the scientific methods to calculate the density and pressure within a range of altitudes. Thank GOD I listened during the lecture and copied down the “Properties of Air”. My friends didn’t copy them down and had to get them off me during the second session of the class when we were doing the questions. Tsk, tsk. They should listen in class too.
We had an hour break before our second session of the class. My friends and I decided to eat Pizza because well … it was just close and I was craving for pasta!
My class is pretty small but I like it. I have a good feeling that I will do pretty well this semester. :D There are a couple of “new” students that weren’t in our classes last semester. I want to go and make friends with them but I feel so shy. They just sit there by themselves, doing work by themselves. :( Let’s see if they’re in my classes tomorrow! I’ll try to talk to them. Maybe a “shy” greeting? Hehe.
